if you see buddha
in the grove of ancient trees
strangle him slowly

---

the tree unmindful
slowly embraces Buddha
mindful, he minds not

---

Tree stands tall and proud
Roots of Budhism anchored
Firmly to the earth

---

In a sun drenched place,
the wilted traveler recalls
Ozymandias

---

a quick sniff of blow
still standing the test of time
A god or still high

Two Japanese girls,
with cameras and peace signs,
Ayuthaya tour

der schutte

Christmas beer this year. A friend with family who has cocoa plantation in Samoa brought me a pound of raw Samoan cocoa, I bought a gallon of organic cherry juice, and made a triple strngth, chocolate cherry stout. Tasted it today. Maybe two more weeks to maturity. It is frightening, and very creamy.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent

Su, I reckon that that second one there is your best yet. It's just about perfect. Mind you they're all pretty good. As for the Japanese girls and the peace signs, I have that photo.

And chocolate cherry stout eh? Under the rule of I'll-try-anything-once, sure, why not?

Genius idea! How about a peanut butter and jelly bitter? Or a lemon meringue pie with whipped cream lager? Yumbo!

Sadly no. You see Peanut butter has too many oils and therefore will not support a head.

Blaine's Patent Pilsner -

world's best chicken beer

Ha ha ha, sorry boys and girls, it's an in-joke for the Schutter. Otherwise I declare that the best haiku about chicken flavoured beer ever written.

Howdy,
Just wanted to say Der Schutte's Ayuthaya tour was spot on. Guess its one of those unique communal memories kinda thingy

Cherry beer? Let us know how that one goes..

Cherry beer is widely available in Belgium (well it would be wouldn’t it), made by Belle View and Lindermans as also is raspberry beer from the same companies.

Well I made two batches of Guava beer last year. One a belgian ale, the other a wheat beer, both produced a wonderful thing, but the heavier belgian just took the guava and ran with it and it was very popular. Fruits and beer can be great.

Take a country drive
on shaded unpaved back roads
Guava for my beer
