From stolid earth to
flaming sky, worlds will collide
when rage conquers fear
---
Our numbers are large
Yet still far to few to change
Rampant injustice
---
One defiant stare
One moment of brave manhood
Then he bleeds to death
---
my children's children
will laugh and play in your dust
---
Brutal savages
Pale skin, God and gun powder
will civilize you.
---
those so empowered
seek to control, to subdue
those who live freely
---
Authority called.
Old battles are fought again
and nothing is learn

Summer Church social.

One straw too many,
and each straw a whit of fear.
A shrug and it's gone.

As he lays bleeding,
the angry mob does the math.
So much for the guard...

Geez, I hope they wash their hands before dinner ;)

Hee hee. Some people have no respect, honestly! Here we all were grooving on the church-like vibe and you crack out a fart. Dreadful ; )
Otherwise, I grooved on this one folks. Very good.
BTW. This pic was by the Brazilian photographer Salgado. If you look him up in googlepix you won't be disappointed. He's fantastic. I originally started looking for his famous series of the hordes of people climbing that steep incline with sacks of gold ore on their backs. Remember that scene in Koyaanisqatsi? Okay, well Salgado was there first. Anyway I got distracted by all his other pix and ended up going with this one. It's a spectacular composition, and all on the fly. Astounding.
