rooted in dark earth
vision will clear for closed eyes
bring forth this flower

---

Contemplatively
dreaming of riches to come
when they call me buddha

---

Skara from Stargate
Abydos to ascension
Returns to fig tree

---

Bomjon meditates
Will he enlighten us all
When he goes over?

---

why don't you all try
meditating instead of
watching me do it?

Fig tree too cramped
Wanders in the wilderness
Back as Rimpoche

Some say he's Buddha
Some say he is a legend
He knows he's Skara

Ayah, forget post-modern whatever. I forthwith refuse to make such comments. People may write what they like and I shall express no opinion. Apart from saying how lovely everything is, ha ha. You out there Slozo? Do come back.

Speaking of 'tree embracing' it all came back to me. How embarassing. Two similar images. Never mind, this is different enough. Not forgetting the possibility of juxtaposing. Oh, it's been so long since I juxtaposed. Or even said it - juxtaposed, juxtaposed, juxtaposed. That's enough of that I think.

Too tired (and silly) to write a haiku tonight. Back tomorrow.

And thanks everyone, a good effort. And so early.

I play a game listening to art critics, which is to see how long they can talk about art before saying the word juxtaposed. It isn't very long usually.

nice photo too!

Hullo John, how are you? I did like that bloke. Imagine him addressing a rally. That would be something.

Oh wait, aren't we talking about Bomjon? Hmm... talk about polar opposites. To engage or to withdraw - the eternal question ...well, for me anyway. Then again, what if everyone went on strike and just sat in Trafalgar Square meditating?

Actually forget the meditating. Zen Buddhism is famously 'just sitting'. Okay, so what they just sat there? What if everyone just sat down and shut down the City of London? How many could they arrest? It's a thought.

Nectar and ambrosia
No good for Bacchus

Solid as the tree
He does not bend. Why is he
so inscrutable?

Contemplating life
On a different astral plain
Thinks of a hair cut

All ok here thanks nobody. I thought him a nice juxtaposition. If the crowds get big enough there isn't much that could stop them, apart from a plague maybe. We wait and see eh?

T'was the first time I had heard of him . . . sounds like a kid looking to gain fame and fortune by sitting on his ass very, very well for a long time. And he's good looking too, will show well in front of cameras (probably a coincidence, or maybe just the Buddha blessing real meditation superstars with good looks?).

Onya Slozo,

You could be right mate. Or he could be the Buddha. Anyone can be, you know. If you are awakened you are the Buddha.

And sorry boys and girls, I've been going hammer and tongs on the van (I have to get out of here before Christmas) and I've been exhausting myself daily, and that's why I haven't put up a new pic.

It's been years since I did the workshop thing and I love it. To think I gave this up to get into computers. What an idiot. I love woodworking. It's all I want to do really. And write I guess.

Anyway, I'll put up a new pic tomorrow.

Late as usual. I have to agree with Slozo that the kid must be in it for fame and fortune, pretty much like all those millions of other fakers around the world who have pretended to meditate all those thousands of years, the transparent idiots. It's all been an obvious scam to make easy money and get famous, meditations shit and of no use to anyone. Why should I work on the self when I know it all already? Anyway, I'm off to put a bucket over my head and win the X factor, toot toot!
