Sometimes the poet
in slovenly bovine scenes
finds peace among noise
---
Used to get invites,
to gallery openings,
where I drank too much.
---
photo cow chews grass
gives a dirty look to man
through the dimensions
---
oblivious smoke
cow leaves shrooms in fields azure
divine hindu shit
---
the two of us
watching the world go by
and each his own cud

And FB, in going back through the old haiku I realised I'd misread your cyclamen one about the siren. My criticism of it was misplaced. It was actually very very good.
And then, what with being drunk with power, I couldn't help myself and I played Ezra Pound to your TS Eliot and gave it a bit of an edit. All in the interest of making it foolproof you understand. Which is to say: to prevent a fool like me misreading it, ha ha.
Have a look see what you think. My changes were very minor. If you hate it I'll change it back. It'll still be a grand haiku so no problems.

der schutte
such an angry cow
perhaps if I look elsewhere
then he might cheer up
Hello the Schutter, you missed the dragon mate.
I love those kind eyes
howard beale is getting mad
death to desire
Ha ha ha ha, JD that's brilliant, didn't see it coming at all.
Just browsing and thought of this poem
Our Cow By C. J. Dennis
My kids and I loved this as we did The Triantiwontigongolope - great poet.
Tony
Hey Tony, what are you doing back here? But don't mind me, I do like it when people wander around in the old postings.
And thanks for that. All I can say is, I wish I was that cow. Never mind.
