a crime of violet
head bowed, reaching for the sky
wings of surrender

---

a bleeding blossom
her kiss resistant flower
mary shelley's weed

---

Carmine temptress
A siren with wings unfolded
Call for her bidding.

---

on a rare day of snow
i held a cyclamen loosely
leaving childhood behind

---

tiny green creature
peeking bravely from your ship
of purple petals

how very grateful i am for this.....

very indeed.

delight at the effortlessness.

'The ageing neophyte and the neonate sage'
and
'Goddess I beseech you: kill me or make me you. Smash my brains to pieces and rearrange them as you will'
and finally

Dumbstruck. Too bedazzled by the stars. So effortless.

Fuck that post is brilliant. And yet there is no one there to take delivery of that comment. How cool is that.

Hooray

Did you like that one Su? I'm glad. I wrote that for someone special who has appeared in my life to both ruin it and make it worth living, ha ha. She shall remain nameless.because... it's early days yet, and it's more fun that way.

I'm thinking it might just be my favourite piece ever. Come the van I would like to write more like that. At the moment I have a full-time cable connection and I succumb to the red mist with its tiresome daily brawling. But I'm sick of it really. The reason I haven't written anything for a week is because I don't know if I want to go back to it.

In some ways I face Moebius' dilemma. And that flick I linked to there is the movie I pinched all the stills from. I originally only wanted one but the whole movie was so spookily germane that I couldn't resist going nuts with it.

And the reason there were no comments is because I'm pretty sure they would almost entirely have consisted of 'What the hell was that all about?!'. Yawn.

Anyway, Ms. Calabash, wherever you are, I love you.

Oh, and thanks for the haiku Su. The opening line was from nowhere and perfect. And FB. 'Siren call' - I like it. If ony it hadn't been split! Still, very nice. We do like classical references.

I know how you are feeling Mr N, I got burn out and had a more or less six months break from commenting but then I got dragged back in so maybe you should leave an option or two open. Btw I didn't know the Church had started up again, every time I went in I kept reading about Nobs mate C and then I didn't go in and missed all the fun, if that is what it was, whilst it was current. Since comments are closed on the Church I have nowhere else to put this so I will put it here. I just thought you would be interested to know that someone is calling MOSSAD out Nobs style. If I give you the call out without the background then it wont make much sense so start here and work your way forward through the posts. There are not that many but they are long.

Also pleased to hear of the latest turn of events life has thrown at you.

Thanks FB,

That Fukishima thing is interesting isn't it? And is that the 'Nobs' treatment? Dear oh dear, I'm not that bad am I? You sure know how to hurt a guy mate. Anyway I'll send it to a Japanese mate of mine and ask him if there's anything about this on any Japanese sites.

ah noddy,

nothing like having 3 conversations. you too must be an air sign.

a blessing for this journey with she who shall remain nameless for now -
may it be ever fresh
ever new
and may one of you always be in possession of emotional maturity.

i liked the fact that there were no comments. there was really nothing to discuss. you spoke your truth and that was that.
very powerful and you know i think those who read you would have got it entirely.

a very different appearing of nobody.

First let me apologize off the hop for the off topic.
Saw the link you left at my place some time ago.

I have a different take on the whole Fukushima scenario.
Nuclear weapons production
Read-

http://pennyforyourthoughts2.blogspot.com/2011/08/us-bases-in-japan-trained-personnel-to.html

then read this from Joseph Farrel

http://gizadeathstar.com/2011/08/revisting-those-japanese-nuclear-reactors/

There were some odd things that happened around the Fukushima plant.

Dead bodies under the plant?
Two were found
http://www.andhranews.net/Intl/2011/Dead-bodies-two-missing-workers-found-5520.htm

why were they beneath the plant?
What was under there?

Also there were stories that the US was bringing coolant to Fukushima?
Why?
The power plants use water as a coolant, was there another reason for the "coolant" Whatever it was?

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/03/11/rushes-coolant-japanese-nuke-plant-earthquake/

So was the US military delivering "coolant" or were they taking something away?

In fact why did the US send the military in, right away?

again apologies for the off topic :)

My suspicions are that Fukushima was making weapons grade Uranium or Plutonium.

Fukushima # 3 was a mox fuel plant....

Thanks Pen, and aargh! Seems the haiku is turning into the church. That'll teach me to stop comments. I'll go check out those links.

Oh, and Su - emotional maturity?

Um, that rules me out...

AP, Noice! And you were spellbound? You should see me, ha!

And A13, I hope it all goes well for you and all the family. Thoughts go out to your little one. I remember being a kid in hospital (can't remember what for, though) and I found the absence of my parents a variety of heart-breaking. But I got over it. Anyway mate, thanks for the haiku. Very good.
