white light and dark dirt
perfect flowers spin like wheels
singularity

---

Earth mothers kitchen
life blooms
madness descends

---

one thousand yard stare
hands paused memory churning
roots found in black dirt

---

alone with flowers
she loses herself again
hoping to bloom soon

---

I feel the earth move
In my hand, mindless kneading
Sexual tension

If you'd like to hear it,
I can sing if for you.

Um... yes. Perhaps I should explain that my haiku above is a paraphrase of HAL's last words in 2001. With that in mind it made a lot of sense to me. Without it, it probably doesn't. Never mind.

But here, this place, she wondered
It made sense once

I'm glad you're back A. And I like those - very good.

I'm off up the country for a bit of the old Bird Watching Couch of the Gods. Back in a couple of days.

Speaking of which, hey P. I do hope you're feeling better. You look well in your pic. Mind you, I hope you're dressing more warmly than that when you go out. A laurel wreath around your head isn't much protection against -20C.

Off I go now.

today here in helsinki we had the first icicle casualty this winter. a woman in her fifties died instantly on the street when icicles fell on her from the roof of a six story building. it hasn't been minus twenty anymore for some time - when the degrees approach zero icicles form. anyway. the only thing providing infallible protection against them icicles is a laurel wreath. nudity plays no particular role.

Ok never mind. I always try without reading the others first. Because that ruins it. But I stopped mid-composition and read, "He taught me a song" and that was precisely the concept I was going for. so. I give up. Its perfect except it does not give a sense of season, which of course is necessary if you are going to be a true basho master.

and, you see HAL had no sense of season anyway.

nobody said...

Oh, the Schutte. You should have done your effort anyway. I'm all curious now.

As for HAL's senses, certainly he had no sense of season but mostly I think it was his lack of a sense of humour that got him killed. And fair enough.

Otherwise, bravo all. A good effort. It's a tough pic isn't it? Looks easy but it ain't.

As for Basho master, I just shelled out the $19.95 for the Bash-O-Matic.

FB

I tried to post this, this morning but my server was down.

Since the Church has gone into winter hibernation I am going to post this here because I think it is important. I have just become aware of an underground organisation that calls itself The White Hats even though it has been active since November 2011. In that time they have issued 36 reports. They are comprised of politico's; justices; spooks and senior Military. They claim to be extremely well connected in all major fields. In a style reminiscent of the Four Just Men, for those who can remember that far back, they have set themselves a task of righting wrongs. Their aim is to support the system they signed up for and not defending the system as it became.

They claim to have extensive evidence of wrongs committed world wide. For the moment they have limited themselves to legally going after Bush senior; Bush Junior; Both Clinton's; Obama; Bidden; Bernanke; Poulson; Ackerman; Geithner and Bush senior's Team of Actors. To that end they have co-opted the help of Lord James, a British peer who has instigated a committee of inquiry into one particular affair. Bush senior borrowed 85 billion from one man to pay off a US debt that was about to fall due. Congress extended the deficit, Bush kept the money, then refused to give it back. The British involvement is expected to tip a US Congressional hearing and proceedings against the above mentioned who it is claimed were complicit and therefore accessories in the cover up. Lord James speech in the House of Lords can be found here:

FB,

an interesting find indeed - I have had the gut feeling of something like that bubbling, and funny enough you to bring that up into discussion today of all days. I spent the afternoon in a seminar titled "the new budgetary discipline in the eu: implications to socio-economic developments and democracy," hosted by attac in our parliament (I am aware of the globalist tones of attac), with a very interesting opening speech by our minister of foreign affairs. I will put the transcript up in my blog tomorrow.

from what I've seen of such seminars and demonstrations to which I've participated repeated yet again today - the true content which is openly discussed and argued is right there on the table for everyone to tear to pieces in good spirit, but what gets through the media filters and onto the mainstream conscious is a kiddy version of the events. there were maybe fifty people present today in the seminar, with about fourth of them from the media in my estimation. it seems to only require the editorial ladder to filter the information that gets out from such open events to the public. the people hosting and participating rarely have time to see this from the media outlets themselves, which I purely understand - I don't read any mainstream news sources myself.

the most interesting speaker in the seminar was a dane called kenneth haar. he was representing corporate europe observatory and was incredibly sensible, as we scandinavians tend to be. I recommend following that link.

on my opinion a lot of the online conspiracy community is fed with information that stems from controlled opposition. the aim of it is cognitive dissonance and the breaking down of all communal values and orientations in behalf of trust-no-one mentality. there are a lot of people doing good things through well-established routes, at least here in europe, and the conversations are still very open and relatively well-informed.

on my analysis it would appear that the existing conspiracy is a lot smaller and less epic than what is hinted through the conspiracy-entertainment-networks online. the aim in the past decade or two has clearly been to diminish any trust people especially in america have for their governing bodies and for science (through global warming controversies especially). this is the most dangerous part of the game, because through only well-conducted propaganda and the control of media a very small minority has been able to turn the public against structures that took a very long time to establish from true democratic ideals.

Hmm... interesting, interesting. Only had time to skim so far. I shall get into it later (I'm on the road at the moment).

And you could be right P. As per your theory, I am just the chap the death cult is looking for. I don't trust nothin'.

i used to believe in these white hats.

if the white hats were real, and they've been blogging since 2010, at least, why have they not blown the lid off of things yet? what are they waiting for?

AP Having just come across them, I misread their time line. I thought they had been active for 4 months but in fact it is 16 as you point out. Yes they seem to be dragging their feet, maybe this House of Lords inquiry will shove things along a bit. I sure hope so.

ah haiku avoidance syndrome arising but came to see the talent.
good stuff.

and whilst you have been off bird watching - yesterday when I was lying on the ground in the the garden two hoopoes were in coitus mid air and swooped so low that they touched my nose.
now there is deep symbolism there and perhaps after i have lit up it might come to me.

Back just now. And it's the first day of the pinky out of bandages. It's ugly.

I'm half inclined, what with having spent so many years as a modelmaker who stitched, glued, welded, fastened, or otherwise worked with every material under the planet (ie. human skin = just another material), that it's a pretty crummy stitching job.

But maybe my fussy aesthetic eye is foolish here? Maybe this trainee doctor (about whom you have no choice when you don't have private health insurance) did an optimal job, and me thinking I could have done better is bullshit? All I know is that it would never have passed muster in my shop.

Anyway, it's closed up and I can shower without plastic bags, which is nice. And sure it feels like I've got someone else's finger (in terms of sensation) but at least I can get back to finishing off the van, and getting the hell out of here.

And the white hats... I haven't looked into to be honest but straight off the bat, my general inclination is summed up by AP above.

I expect that that question in parliament will sit there as a true data orphan, if you know what I mean. There'll be no follow-up, no big picture, no nothing. Not if Rupes has anything to do with it.

I expect it'll be one of those oddities that just sits there unknown to anyone but us and of no great use neither. It may be factual, a glimpse into the real workings of things, or an absurd con that we all leap upon and, via an arse about, anti-Big Lie logic, declare to be a big deal. Who knows? I vote we sit tight and wait and see what happens. I reckon it's odds-on for 'nothing'.

And isn't this a poetry blog? Haiku something or other? I seem to recall...
Anyway, a new page soon.
Ciao Ciao.
