no matter the time
it's always reassuring
to find myself not dead

Tram, ten minutes late
Take a picture of my watch
So we will have proof

Then send it off fast
To the lawyer and we'll sue
The tram company blind

Brilliant Tycho Brahe
would have been very jealous

Waiting for the bus
wasting precious time as the
world is running down

If this pic were lame
the image would not possess
such composition

The hour approaches
People are all off the streets
Waiting, waiting wait…

"Late! What does this say?"
“Huh, Timex, seventeen jewels
Made in Switzerland.”

A re run of a very old joke.

Hullo Doug, you've been wandering around mate? I noticed your comments on some of those older church posts. Sorry your first go here was with such an ordinary picture. Apologies etc. it can be a bit hit and miss.

Thanks for your poem. Very jolly and a brilliant start.

Just so you know, ordinarily haiku have a syllable count of 5/7/5. Mind you, people break the rule as I did with the one preceding yours. (Were the pedants out there counting? of course!) If you really feel you must - do it.

Are you ofay on syllables? In case you're not your count was 8/8/8. Rhyming is neither here nor there but it's a treat when someone pulls it off. Me, I always do the mental golf clap thing. Anyway, see how you go on the next one.

Nobody, I was just in a creative mood and I thought these were just three line poems. I guess I should haveread about Haiku's to remind myself.

Sorry about that.
