Proof of insurance?
Where's your proof of my buiscuit?
I feel dangerous.

-

get me a six pack
some smokes, a burger with cheese
Jesus, take the wheel

---

Red alert! Red alert!
They're going out again
Time to patrol

-

There are no rules here.
But if you step out of line
I will bite you- Whoof!

---

Sadly cross eyed dog,
I wish you could wear glasses,
I guess I'll shoot you

---

Woof woof woof woof woof
woof woof -- sniff, sniff, grrrrr -- woof woof
woof woof woof woof woof

---

she did not
just say

'bath'???????

---

The wind in my face
Was lovely, until the fly
Smacked me in the eye.

Now stop the darn car
And get the stupid thing out
I cannot see straight

---

Yah, I'm good to go!
Fur shinin', studly collar
Dammit,no breath mints!

---

Dog happy in car
and makes a good passenger,
head out, ears flapping.

And thank you Nina for this marvellous picture. I've been meaning to do man's best friend for a while now, but photos almost never capture what it is that's great about dogs. But Nina did. Isn't she clever?

I don't say a thing,
but you always bloody know.
"Yes, yes, we're going!"

No thought of what's passed,
and the future too is dim,
but my tail wags.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha. No seriously, I tilted my head back and laughed. The people in the internet cafe stopped and looked at me. Onya, you two.

I wrote this previously and didn't send it
In light of your last haiku...

I really like dogs
When I had a proper job
I was working by myself one w/e and forgot to turn the (silent) alarm off as I entered the building
Working away quietly, I heard a noise in the main open area of the building and went to investigate
Our local security guard was tip toeing down the isle with his Doberman (a beautiful big bitch) at heel
'Oh it's only you' says the guard (we’d come face to face before like this but without the dog). The dog and I look at each other (that’s the point when you know if you can trust them or not); we hadn’t met each other before. I dropped to my haunches and started talking to her and petting her.
‘Be careful’, says the guard yanking on her collar, ‘it’s a vicious dog’, as she and I began to wrestle.
The look on the guards face was priceless.
Dogs really like me too.
Tony
ps I’d trust Nina’s dog because all though he looks vicious I think he’s (his name's King) daydreaming of Mitzi or Fifi or the wheel on the car.

Squirrels.
Rabbits.
Birds and Quail.
He's still young, likes live, small, toy-like things he can run with. He found a raccoon tail outside which ranks as #1 toy lately.

The Haikus show that everyone sees what I see in his expression. Very good news.

I am especially drawn to John's haiku.

The pencil sketch that lies under the color kept looking to me like "Spy vs. Spy". It wasn't right, close, but not Jake.

Thank you, everyone, and thank you, Noby, for honoring my work again. We're saving all of them. They'd be great in a little book of art and haiku, a paperback to stick in the knapsack kind of thing.
